Our Production

The production of Uper Zambezi Honey is the result of a work of love for one's neighbor and for Nature - a work with a deep sense of community: human and environmental. The cresta, that is, the time of honey extraction, takes place in the communes of Caianda and Cazombo, from September to November, coinciding with the end of the cold season, the cacimbo, and before the beginning of the great rains in December to April.

Sustainably produced honey

Why is this honey better than the others?

Due to the edaphic and climatic characteristics of the Upper Zambezi region, and the unique tree coverings existing in that remote region, located on the Cazombo prominence, with Congo to the North, and Zambia to the East and South.

Due to the richness of pollens in that remote region, coming from the great variety of flowers from the old forests, where there is the greatest diversity of honey trees in Angola.

For the sustainable production process in Langstroph and Africanized TopBar hives, for the extraction with conservation practices without resorting to the smoke method, for the processing in a modern honey factory, cold, and with a single filtering, maintaining the richness of pollens Honey Analysis, Honey color analysis e Polen Analysis, without adulterating honey with the flavor and aroma of burnt sugar characteristic of traditional extraction using the smoke method.

Upper Zambezi Honey has an amber color, sweet flavor, smooth taste, and pleasant aroma, unique characteristics of honey from that region.
